We were so lucky that we encountered a great man called Joe, and he was willing to take us out on his boat and show us around the Sundays!

I've always loved these old 'pirate boats' and finally I got to see one for real!

Some of the bays were absolutely splendid.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the boat trip was snorkelling. Here is Troy and Taleena loving the Sea Lice.

So I went into my cabin and had a little rest and when I woke I noticed the view from my window was lovely.

So I do have my boat licence but I hadn't driven one this size. I didn't collide with the pirate ship, dead ahead.

Not just one, but two of those boats that I love. 

Travelling home the following afternoon - after a night on the water - being blinded by the sun, but also mesmorized by the sunset.

This was bay was surrounded by some of the most beautiful coral I've ever seen. 

We encountered countless whales while out boating with Joe. They really are graceful creatures.

I have seen whales before, but there was just something special about this. (Maybe the fact that we didn't have an instructor talking our ear off)
